New Year 2022

The Year Ahead

2022 is now truly underway and though summer seems a long way off the days are already  lengthening and before long signs of spring will be all around (though we can’t discount more winter weather just yet).

The sights, sounds and smells of Northumberland have been in the news this week with the first episode of the Hairy Bikers ‘Go North’ series focusing firstly upon the great local produce that’s available in Northumberland. One tip though, if you are looking forward to eating at any of the places mentioned in the series (or any of the other great places to eat) then do book ahead. We found that even on a cold Saturday night in January, the best places can still be hard to find a table at.

Whilst Bamburgh may be the first choice from watching the TV series, try other places too. Berwick, has some excellent places to eat with all tastes catered for.

And if you are looking forward to a break in unspoilt Northumberland over the next few months, then check out our latest availability for Spring/Summer 2022

 Happy holidays
